The day has ended, and night has begun to fall over the campus of D. Argee University.
It’s not quite bedtime yet, and perhaps you are all a little hopped up on Yuki’s sweets, because you aren’t tired yet. Maybe a few hours of shenanigans is what you all need to relax?
…Unbeknownst to the majority of you, however, something sinister is going on behind the scenes…
Professor O’Kuma takes a certain person aside. “It’s time for the experiment to begin,” he tells them. “And you will be my first test subject. I’ll give you an A+ on all tests and assignments for the rest of the semester and you don’t have to turn a single thing in. All I need is for you to do a little favour for me…”
“What’s the catch?” asks the person in question.

The professor smiles earnestly. You can see something dangerous behind his eyes. “Kill someone without getting caught,” he says. “You’re a budding forensic scientist, aren’t you? You know all of the little pieces of evidence, the small mistakes that get criminals caught. Show me you’ve learned something in this class.”
Welcome to Nightly 1! You will all soon be receiving your A0. For the new players, let me direct you to fellow admin Taka’s DRG Guide - specifically to pages 4 & 5, which show a typical action sequence.
Remember that you will send in 6 actions (unless the body is found by 3 or more people at once; can include the blackened if they wish; in that case, the night ends there). Each action will be 30 minutes long in-game, and you will have 24 hours to send in each action when prompted.
Professor O’Kuma will be hanging out in the Teacher’s Lounge all night with the door unlocked. If you’d like to come chat with him or just check out the Teacher’s Lounge, you can!
Additionally, first blood immunity will be in effect for new players. Anyone who has not participated in a DRG main game before will be immune to death for this first trial. (You can still be executed during trial though, whether you're guilty or not.) This applies to:

- crichard
- eity
- mako
